What I do

Great writing has an intense focus on a message, creates an emotional journey and taps into the senses. I write letters, emails, websites, landing pages and longer works that convert the curious, the skeptical and the reluctant into donors and customers. 

In addition to letters and emails that bring in revenue, my case studies (success stories), reports, newsletters, brochures and websites move the reader or listener toward the marketing goal, sometimes subtly, sometimes with great force, but always persuading, always giving something to the reader—all the while creating longing, urgency and need.

Below are the guidelines I use when providing quotes for my writing services. Hiring me for multiple projects can reduce your costs.

$3,000 to $9,000

Copy for an email tied to a direct mail effort
$800 to $1,400

Standalone email copy (independent of other efforts)
$800 to $2,500

Donation or sales landing page copy
$800 to $2,500

Website homepage copy $800 to $4,000

Website category pages copy (About, Services, etc.)
$500 to $750

Long-form sales page copy $600 to $5,000

Email conversion series copy
$300 to $500 per email

Printed newsletter-style mailer copy
$2,500 and up

Email newsletter copy
$500 to $2,000
